About Us
Lighthouse SL (LSL) specialises in providing secure accommodation and tailor-made care for young people transitioning through the care system. We have extensive experience of working with children in residential care settings as well as disenfranchised young people. LSL takes young people from residential or foster care placements providing secure housing, personal and social support into independence and unsupported accommodation. We work with young people in our care to develop skills and confidence to live independent lives, whilst providing them with accessible pathways to support services that will equip them with knowledge and information to thrive.
Staff & Support staff
Our senior leadership team has complete oversight of the orgnisation including staff and the services we deliver. We recruit staff based on their skills, qualifications, experience and passion to work with clients with complex needs. We recognise that for most service users the most important people in our organisation are the Support Workers with whom service users will have regular contact. We take great care in recruiting, training and supervising our staff. We promote a culture of professionalism in the organisation.
New regulations came into force on the 28 of August 2023 requiring all providers working with children under the age of 18 to be regulated by Ofsted. We have registered with Ofsted and all our delivery is in line with Ofsted requirements.
We work closely with the local authorities to take placements with a rigorous placement process.
We have compliant policies including safeguarding and CSE polices.

Our Vision
LSL is an experienced provider in delivering services to clients with complex needs. We work with clients on personal development including health, education and social care. We work with our partner organisation XSE Academy to deliver training to our clients, we will take advantage of resources available to us to finance programmes form the public as well as the private sector. We proved outstanding quality housing and deliver an outstanding service in line with our values.
